Good question and one that isn’t that black or white. It can depend on the package you book, the number of guests you have and the different elements you have going on in your day. But just be sure you’ll get all the goodies!!

Turnaround time can be anywhere from 8-12 weeks (depending on the time of year) but you’ll receive a handful of sneak peek photos within 3 days of your wedding so you can share them with those who couldn’t make it, or who weren’t invited. All images will be delivered via an online gallery with the ability to download them straight to your own personal computer & hard drive. Please, please, please make sure you have them backed up securely!!!

Unfortunately my skills don’t go as far as videography. I firmly believe that it’s far too much for one person to undertake both medias for a wedding. I wouldn’t do photography justice if I tried to juggle both. I do however have a package that includes a trusted videographer I work with often. For more information on this - flick me an email and I can send you my photo & video combined packages. Alternatively I can recommend some wonderful videographers who are local to the area.

Most weddings seen on my blog have been shot by just me, however that doesn’t mean that I only shoot solo. If you have prep locations that are far away from each other or want more of your cocktail hour documented whilst you are off on location photos then a second shooter is a fabulous addition. Just flick me a message and I can organise that for you.

I’m located in Wānaka and love travelling for weddings. Travel within the Wānaka and Hawea area is free, but POA for other locations. Also, if you’re looking at getting married overseas then please just ask. I’m British born so would love the opportunity to photograph in the motherland (UK), Europe, Iceland…. The list is endless.

Yes, all prices are inclusive of 15% GST.

Haha, Welcome to the club!! I’ve been told that I’m no longer allowed to chuck a double thumbs up in a photo by my partner (kill joy) as it’s my go to, camera ready pose. But you’re not me!! When shooting I love to be as unintrusive as possible, I love nothing more than letting moments unfold naturally and capturing them as I see them rather than imposing. I’ll give you little hints and pointers along the day (if needed) so you get the best out of lighting and angles, but if you just be you then your authentic self will come across in the images.

Absolutely I can. We are so lucky to have such amazing talent in the Wānaka and Queenstown area (& central Otago as a whole). I’ve worked with so many wonderful professionals in the wedding industry here that I’m more than happy to give you suggestions of who would fit the vibe and style of your day so that you get the best team on board to create your dream wedding.

This is another not so black and white answer. All seasons here have their pros and cons and that depends on what you both see as important. Spring (SEP-NOV) has the hints of both the winter past and the summer on its way. Cherry blossom and stunning flowers are more likely now, but spring also can bring strong winds & unpredictable weather patterns, you need to be prepared for all temperatures. Summer (DEC-FEB) can be great for those long hot, festival type days but if you’re not into the heat then it can get quite warm. Also, the sun doesn’t set till around 9:30pm so less chance of getting those golden hour photos as your reception might be in full swing. Autumn (MAR-MAY) is usually a more settled calmer season. The golden hour is at a more appropriate time, long golden sunsets with beautiful autumn leaves make Central Otago super stunning. Temperatures can dip as soon as the sun goes though. Winter (JUN-AUG) is beautiful but cold. Be prepared to have all the layers ready. We don’t often get snow to ground level but the surrounding mountains look epic in a dusting of white. A great season for cozy fires & mulled wine.

As much as I want to say this will never happen, I can never say never and I’m not indestructible (much to my disgust). In the rare case that this may occur, then I will make sure I do my upmost to find a replacement who I respect and trust to take the reins on your day. The editing will still be done by me in my style so that it closely replicates that of what you’ve seen on my website and social media.

If you can, tell me which package you want to lock in (although that can be chosen at a later time) then to secure the date is set aside for you a $700 nonrefundable deposit is required. I’ll send you out a booking form and contract and then we’re away!! Let’s get started!
